Luminous Minds: A Family Creative Lab

Join Amplified Change at Frederick Social for Luminous Minds, a family friendly creative lab where children and caregivers can explore the magic of cyanotype printing, a beautiful art process that uses sunlight to create stunning blue and white images.

During this guided activity, families will arrange natural objects and shapes on special light sensitive paper and watch their designs develop in the sunlight. It is a simple, fascinating process that combines creativity, curiosity, and a little bit of science.

Each participant will complete two cyanotype prints while learning about the mission of Amplified Change and how creative experiences help children build confidence, emotional regulation, and resilience.

✨ How It Works
Families will sign up for a timed creative session. The art activity takes about 20 minutes to create and 20 minutes to dry. Families are encouraged to mingle and snack while waiting for their prints to dry

Timed start sessions:
• 6:00 PM
• 6:20 PM
• 6:40 PM
• 7:00 PM

You are welcome to arrive early, enjoy the space, and spectate when it isn’t your time to create.

Tickets are available in advance and may also be purchased on site while supplies last. Because materials are limited, advance purchase is encouraged to guarantee your spot.
