Where Creativity Meets Healing and Hope
At Amplified Change, our after-school program is intentionally designed exclusively for children with four or more Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). We provide a safe, structured, and supportive creative environment where children can express themselves, build confidence, and begin to heal through art.
Our programs are rooted in the HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) framework, which focuses on increasing Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs)—protective experiences that help buffer the effects of trauma and support long-term well-being. Through consistent relationships, encouragement, and creative exploration, we help children strengthen resilience and rediscover their sense of possibility.
What Children Experience
Each session begins with a nutritious snack and time to connect with trusted adults and peers. From there, students engage in guided visual arts activities such as painting, drawing, mixed media, and collaborative projects. These experiences are designed to:
- Foster safe, supportive relationships
- Encourage self-expression and autonomy
- Build confidence through skill development
- Promote a sense of belonging and accomplishment
Our focus is on the creative process allowing children to explore, experiment, and express themselves without pressure or judgment.
