Committees of Amplified Change
At Amplified Change, our committees are where passion meets purpose. Each one plays a vital role in helping us grow, sustain, and strengthen our programs that empower youth with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) to heal through art and education.
Building Committee
The Building Committee focuses on the long-term vision for our physical space and helps with identifying, developing, and maintaining facilities that are safe, welcoming, and conducive to creativity and healing. This committee also supports planning related to our capital campaign and facility partnerships.
Ideal Skillsets & Strengths:
- Experience in real estate, architecture, construction, or project management
- Strategic and logistical thinking
- Attention to detail and budgeting awareness
- Understanding of zoning, permitting, or facility operations
- Passion for creating environments that inspire and uplift youth
Events Committee
The Events Committee brings people together to celebrate, connect, and support our mission. From community gatherings and fundraisers to creative showcases, this group helps design meaningful experiences that deepen relationships and expand our reach.
Ideal Skillsets & Strengths:
- Event planning or coordination experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Comfort working with vendors, sponsors, and volunteers
- Positive energy and enthusiasm for community engagement
Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee drives the financial sustainability of Amplified Change by developing creative strategies to raise funds, cultivate donors, and grow sponsorships. This group works closely with leadership to ensure we have the resources to serve more children and families each year.

- Experience in fundraising, sales, or business development
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in outreach and donor communication
- Strategic and goal-oriented mindset
- Passion for connecting people and purpose
Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee helps tell the story of Amplified Change — who we are, why we exist, and how our work changes lives. This team supports branding, social media, communications, and creative storytelling to grow awareness and inspire community support.
Ideal Skillsets & Strengths:
- Background in marketing, communications, public relations, or design
- Social media and content creation experience
- Strong writing and storytelling abilities
- Eye for branding and visual consistency
- Strategic thinker who can turn ideas into impactful campaigns
Programs Committee
The Programs Committee ensures that all Amplified Change initiatives, including our after-school art programs, parent coaching, and future school are mission-aligned, trauma-informed, and impactful. This group collaborates with others to develop, evaluate, and refine program offerings that meet the evolving needs of our youth and families.
Ideal Skillsets & Strengths:
- Background in education, art therapy, counseling, or youth development
- Understanding of trauma-informed care and ACEs
- Creativity, empathy, and collaboration
- Interest in program evaluation and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
